Los weyes de Bilbao

The best thing about Erasmus is definitely the people you meet. You form close relationships with people from all corners of the world and learn that culture, religion or race may be what can help define us but underneath we are much more similar than we think. This is a group photo of friends from all over the world and I enjoying our last moments of first semester together before lots returned home. Goodbyes are the worst part of exchange however the memories made with people who only months before were strangers will be treasured forever. This photo was taken by the river in Bilbao in winter and reminds me of the great times I had with new friends. I have entitled this photo 'Los weyes de Bilbao' the name the Mexicans use meaning friends or 'guys' which was adopted as the name for the group.
