Trainspotters

Taken in Zielona Gora, Poland. During the world youth days in Poland, when the pope visited Krakow, around 2 million visitors from around the world were expected. For this reason I got a week off work and decided to leave Krakow to explore Poland. During the end of my travels after visiting Warsaw, Gdansk and Sopot I planned to visit my flatmate, Sasza, who returned home for a week to spend the weekend by her family lake. Another of my flatmates had also joined her earlier on. In this picture you can see my French flatmate on the left (marion) and Polish flatmate (Sasza) on the right, greeting me and my friend Martin at the train stop. This photo is important to me as we could see them from a distance as the train approached and it filled me with such sentimental feelings, almost reducing me to tears at their absolutely adorable gesture. I also love the facial expression of Sasza, so happy to see us that she forgot how to smile properly :) leaving me with the knowledge that i will always have two very, dear friends in Poland and France.
