We are continuing to work together to build on our University Values. Our Values are at the heart of Strathclyde and reflect who we are, how we work, what we believe in and what we stand for. They also set out how we should act and how we expect to be treated in our work environment. Our Values also guide the decisions we make.

I remain convinced that our Values — People–Oriented, Bold, Innovative, Collaborative and Ambitious — are continuing to play a critical role in reinforcing Strathclyde’s position as a leading international technological University.

Our annual Medal Awards recognise individual staff or teams at Strathclyde who consistently demonstrate the University’s Values in their work and relationships. I continue to be both proud and delighted with the high calibre and high number of Medal Awards nominations received from across every area of the University each year. I see this as clear evidence of the thriving and successful organisation which Strathclyde continues to be. I was delighted to present 13 individual and 9 Team Awards at our 2016 Strathclyde Medals Ceremony held in September 2016.

I would now like to invite you to nominate individual members of staff and ⁄ or teams for the 2017 Medal Awards.
